More than seventy years ago, on the 6th of August 1945, Little Boy was dropped on Hiroshima. Little Boy, an inappropriately innocent name for the an atomic bomb, was released at 08:15 and detonated about 600 metres above the ground. Despite being more than 70 years ago – there are many lessons in what happened that day and how it changed the world.
The world’s news and brainpower seems to be occupied by the current situation in Greece and it is becoming increasingly clear that beyond an economy seriously suffering, people are too. So, in two posts, this Greek debt crisis will be explored, starting with what has happened in the last 40 years to cause such a severe economic crisis, in a country with quite a strong economy.
